- Bachelor's Degree,
- We care more about proof than years of experience. We want to see that you actually build things. Open source work, GitHub repos, portfolio projects, demos, write ups, videos, anything that shows you’ve been working on it,
- Curious, open to learning, and you like getting better over time. You don’t get stuck with one approach, you can adapt,
- Solid ML/DS fundamentals, Understand evaluation metrics, overfitting vs underfitting, data leakage, and how to choose and test models,
- Hands on experience (work or projects) with applied models like scoring/sorting, recommendation systems, time series, and clustering. Have used classic predictive models too, like Logistic Regression, with the pipeline around it,
- Build backend systems in Python (FastAPI is a plus), design APIs, and you care about code quality and maintainability,
- Can communicate with non technical people, translate business needs into technical decisions, and report outcomes in a clear way,
- Being comfortable owning things from start to finish, and working in an environment where priorities can change,
What You Will Be Doing
- You will build AI features that actually ship. Not just demos. You’ll take things from a quick POC into production, then keep improving it with real feedback.
- You’ll develop Python backend services and APIs that power these features. Sometimes that also means background jobs and workers for longer running tasks.
- You won’t only call external AI endpoints. You’ll also work on classic DS/ML problems like scoring and sorting, recommendation systems, time series forecasting, clustering, and predictive models (for example logistic regression), depending on the use case.
- You’ll do the practical parts too: data preparation, feature engineering, evaluation and metrics, error analysis, and iteration.
- You’ll work with non technical stakeholders, understand what they really need, ask the right questions, propose a solution that fits the context, and then document and report results clearly.
- You’ll care about production quality: logging, monitoring, reliability, latency and cost. If something breaks, you help fix it and make it better.
- When needed, you’ll also contribute to frontend work (React/Next.js) by building screens or internal tools so AI outputs are shown in a clear and useful way.
